Steph Curry named three NBA legends he’d most like to play with

As a four-time NBA champion, two-time NBA scoring champion and nine-time NBA All-Star, Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry has played alongside his fair share of decorated NBA players, with Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson being a few that instantly come to mind. That being said, it’s always fun to speculate how a player of Curry’s caliber would’ve meshed with NBA legends from past eras and Curry named three NBA legends he’d most like to play with in a recent episode of the “Dubs Talk” podcast.

“My top three, obviously [Michael] Jordan, [Shaquille O’Neal] and I’d probably say Hakeem Olajuwon,” Curry said. “I’d like to play with all three of those guys, because I think with Jordan, we all just want to see it up close and personal. And then I think pick-and-roll with me and Hakeem or me and Shaq would be pretty much unstoppable.”

Curry was also asked which of the aforementioned players’ attributes on the court he most admired and which he’d most like to borrow for himself, with the 35-year-old noting that he’d take Shaq’s physical dominance over even Michael Jordan’s gravity-defying leaping ability.

“Probably physically dominating,” he continued. “It’s just such the opposite of my experience on the court. I’ve dunked a couple of times, but like to have somebody like, (Curry smacks his right hand down to his left), they call it ‘Mouse in the House’ and you can just post up and understand as soon as I catch it, this guy behind me has no chance. That’d be an out-of-body experience, for sure. So I’ve seen the Shaq highlights, I want to break some backboards every once in a while. That’d be fun.”

What do you think of the three NBA legends Steph Curry said he’d most like to play with? Which NBA player would you have liked most to see Steph play alongside? Let us know in the comments.
